Information Required
It is a requirement that the inspector understands the design and scope of the installation, and any limitations that may arise. Any charts and diagrams need to accessible for the tests, and good access to the installation that is agreed to be tested, along with access to all switch gear and isolation points for safety and shock protection.
Routine Checks
Electrical Installations should not be left without interval testing within the permitted time scale or when any visual damage occurs or any fault tripping of fuses. Any properties that are rented out should be routinely tested for excess wear and tear and degrading of PVC conductors. We can perform full electrical installation testing ( EICR ) on the property in accordance with 18th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations BS7671 and offer any remedial works to bring the property up to the current standard needed to comply
